Someone had requested that I make Hotroot Soup from Redwall, so I went on a bit of a Redwall recipe kick recently - these are : Grayling (Trout) a la' Redwall and Hotroot soup! The Grayling was mentioned as being creamy and herbaceous. I made a creamy garlic aoli for the roasted veg and topped my trout with the necessary pureed herbs. The Hotroot Soup is made with turnip, parsnip, shrimp, and a spicy herby salsa verde with chilies! How did I do?
