QOTD; What's a case where you preferred the retelling of a famous fairytale, myth or classical novel over the story it is based upon? Personally, I have to go with Lost Boy by Christina Henry. I like the Peter Pan book well enough, but I honestly feel like I enjoy the concepts and characters within the text more than I enjoy reading it, if that makes sense. Lost Boy dwells into Peter Pan and Captian Hook in such an exciting and twisted way, while still keeping to the core theme of the original novel of growing up 🗡️🏴‍☠️ (Oh! And here's a fun fact; I've even been working on a story, "Saturn", which has been inspired by Peter Pan, since 2020, and it is my magnum opus 🪐)
