My pick for Favorite Non-Fiction today is Junk Science and the American Criminal Justice System by M. Chris Fabricant! If you are a true crime fan in the US, this a must-read! Or if you live in another country and want to see how screwed up our legal system is 😅 The author of this book is actually a lawyer for the Innocence Project and that's how he ended up working towards getting men who were falsely convicted using bite mark "science" out of prison. He mainly focuses on bite marks but he does go into blood spatter analysis, touch dna and fingerprints. I will warn you that this can be a tough read and devastating at times.
