This quote struck me as appropriate for today's #wordsandwhimsy reading challenge photo prompt: arise, or forever be fallen. It's from the memoir My Year of Running Dangerously, which chronicles Tom Foreman's journey from overworked, overtired, rather sedentary 51-year-old to ultramarathon finisher.
