#octhenest photo challenge The Wild calls to those who listen: A character goes into the woods. Into The Heartless Wood definitely fits this prompt. The story wouldn't have gotten off the ground if the MC hadn't broken the rule by entering the woods. This is one of my favorite books, and the author is one of my top authors. As I was making this photo, it occurred to me that this book has a lot of plot beats as The Little Mermaid, so possible retelling? Perhaps. #wordsandwhimsy
