Not sure if anyone is familiar with this series or author, but I got these in the mail today. A friend of mine told me about these books many years ago and let me borrow hers knowing I liked fantasy. I enjoyed them quite a bit and every so often I thought I should have bought them to have on hand. I came across someone who sold both sets and I finally got them. I wish they were hardcover, but I imagine that would have been very expensive and out of my price range.
