Today, I had so many idea to rebind books, or to add stenciling to the edges or the covers! Since you all have been so kind and supportive of my dabbling in rebinding I'm letting you in on a project I've been wanting to start for a while now! It's no secret that Percy Jackson is my favorite... so I want to completely redo one of my sets! (PJO is the only series I more than 2 sets!) I have set of mix matched old hard backs I got second hand a year or so ago, some of them have definitely seen better days. I got the set specifically to rebind them at some point so I wouldn't feel too back taking them apart... I'll be working on this off and on for a while but I'm going to start it! I'm going to do it! I'm want to illustrate new covers, front and back end pages, make them my own! The series has meant so much to me I want to make something special. Which will take quite a while!! The actual rebinding will be the easy part! For me I think the harder part will definitely be sticking to it, and then figuring out exactly how to print the pieces / where I could get them printed. If anyone has any suggestions I'd like to hear them! So I'll keep you guys posted with my progress with this project in-between my smaller rebind projects!
