Interviewed for a new corporate litigation attorney job yesterday via Zoom and the partner had these beautiful built-in bookshelves behind her…so naturally I rave about those. Then we spent half the interview talking books & book shelves. It was the most relaxing & fun interview of my life. 3 hours after the interview, I got a job offer. I’m sure my qualifications played a part, but I’m still going to say a mutual love for books can open up doors in ways you would never expect.
