Day 2 of the 12 days of Bookmas! Today, I bring you my quintessential cozy mystery that's perfect for when the weather starts to turn. Includes a French gargoyle that loves to cook, an antiques dealer with an alchemically extended life, and, of course, a murder and a mystery. Not in that order. Some people really dislike this book because it does have a lot of food descriptions, but that's one of the things I like about it since I also enjoy dabbling in the kitchen. If that's not you, might wanna skip this one. No, it doesn't have a crazy complex plot, but it is one I thoroughly enjoy pulling off my shelf for another read every once and a while.
