📖Hello nest! I recently participated in a Six of crows readathon and I really enjoyed it. It was so much fun being able to discuss the books with fellow readers. I have a couple of suggestions and tips for events that I would like to share here in the Nest. These could either be part of a readalong or in anticipation of a special edition box release or on the occasion of a book anniversary etc. 🙂 I think that it would be fun to have a couple of livestreams that would help you to immerse yourself in the world of the book. For example, currently there is a Six of crows readalong going so it would be cool to have for example an interview with an acrobat because Inej is from a family of acrobats, or a livestream with a card player where they can explain rules of various card games because Jesper loves to play cards or how to do magic tricks because Kaz is obsessed with those in the books, or there could be a livestream where the Owlcrate team makes waffles because these are Nina's favorite food etc. 🙂 I think that it would be great to have a stage reading of a couple chapters after finishing a certain section of the book. The way I imagine it is that it could be kind a group reading via livestream where every team member reads a different character, like in a theater play. I think that it could be such an immersive and fun experience. There could also be giveaways for participats where they could win items inspired by the book or gift cards.  There could also be quizzes (like for example which character are you or what power would you have..). Then if there is an adaptation there could be livestreams with creators and actors I imagine that these people are probably super hard to reach, but it would be so cool to have interviews with actors, screenwriters, casting directors or producers. And it would also be nice to have have an author chat at the end of the readathon where readers could discuss the book in depth and with spoilers. What do you think? What events would you love to see during a readathon? I would be super happy for your feedback 🙂! 📖
