Because the the hunger games renaissance that is kind of going on I decided to cave and read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins, the prequel set 64 years before Katniss get reaped we get our main character Coriolanus snow 18 and a mentor to the district 12 tribute of the hunger games. I went in with little expectation because when it first came out a lot of people bashed it which caused me to not want to read it and ruin my view of it. Overall though, this is a really good book, I found myself in conflict as I read snows point of view knowing what he did in the future. In the end I give this 4.5/5!
