“Dreams of poets were the realities of life” _________________________________ I have to admit that I haven’t really read poetry. I don’t know why really, but often I feel like I don’t understand what the author wants to say through the poetry and am unable to enjoy it to the fullest, so I kinda avoid it 🙈 On the other hand, this prompt made me think of one person almost instantly as well! Apollo, Greek god of the sun but also poetry, art, music, healing etc. At the time I looked at all the prompt for the photo challenge I was just reading The Burning Maze, were Apollo is the main character. I’ve yet to finish The Trial of Apollo series, but I do very much enjoy the books and I love how Rick Riordan does his chapter names in all of his books! In this series, each chapter name is a haiku, which is a type of poetry and very fitting! #thenest #owlcrate #wordsandwhimsy #photochallenge #rickriordan #apollo
