📻 Hello book owls 🦉! Yesterday during the livestream Owlcrate team mentioned that they will be launching their podcast and I think that it's awesome! I thought that I would share some of my ideas and a concept board that I designed. I think that it would be great to have different guests from the bookish world, besides authors there could be for example illustrators, literary agents, audiobook narratos or booktubers. I think that it would be also fun to have guests who worked on  book adaptations (like movies or TV series). I imagine that these people are probably super hard to reach, but it would be so cool to hear interviews with actors, screenwriters, casting directors or producers. Other guests could be for example small businesses and vendors that Owlcrate works with. There could also be different sections like for example one where the team talks about new books and upcoming releases, or one where they share thought on their current reads. I also think that it could be interesting to have short stories (like 20 minutes long) written by authors exclusively for the podcast. Maybe at the beginning of the season the team members could choose a group of authors and give them some elements (like setting, one thing that has to appear in the story and one character type) and then every podcast episode listeners could see how different authors can use the same elements in a short story. I also think that it would be really fun to read books out loud (either Owlcrate's monthly book or some popular titles that maybe have an anniversary that year). The way I imagine it is that it could be kind a group reading where the team choose a chapter and every team member reads different character, like in a theater play. I think that it could be such an immersive and fun experience. What do you think? Are you excited for the Owlcrate podcast? 📻.
